So if Brooklyn wins at Boston and Chicago wins at home against the Pistons and we lose to the Cavs, we are positioned for the 7th seed, yeah?

No. We would be tied for seventh with CHI, so a coin flip would decide our pre-lottery standing. Odds between 7th and 8th would be shared.

If we somehow get a chance to MPJ we MUST pick him.. Unless he falls all the way down because his back issues..

Personnel update:
Ian Begley
ESPN Staff Writer
As expected, Enes Kanter (back, wrist) and Tim Hardaway Jr. (ankle) will not play tonight in Cleveland, per the Knicks. Courtney Lee (sprained ankle) is questionable for the game and Emmanuel Mudiay (concussion) will not play in the Knicks' final game of the season.

That's the only reason he would fall to 9..

Good news:
Terry Rozier (rest) and Al Horford (rest) will not suit up for Wednesday's regular-season finale against the Nets. Jayson Tatum is not starting on Wednesday against the Nets. Marcus Morris (rest) is not expected to play Wednesday vs. the Nets.

And bad ones:
Coach Ty Lue said he still plans to pull LeBron James after he scores 10 points to keep his double-digit scoring streak intact.
Kevin Love (rest) and Kyle Korver (rest) are out vs. New York on Wednesday.

Sean Kilpatrick will replace Justin Holiday in the starting lineup for Wednesday's regular-season finale against the Pistons.

This will be an unpredictable last night. Go Brooklyn!

1. I see Ayton ,doncic and maybe Bagley and trae young.

2. porter Jr? Sexton I think he has the will to be very good,

3. Mikal, Wendell carter, JJJ but he could also be an all star,Miles bridges, bamba don't know about his offense

Good deal. I wanted to guage everyone’s thoughts. As of now, I see Ayton as All-NBA in the future and Luka as All-Star and everyone else in the top 10 as role players — some gloried via starting for their respective teams and the rest unsung via bench players.

1993, Orlando Magic (11th best odds) got the 1st pick with 1.5% chance at top pick and selected Chris Webber
1999. Charlotte Hornets (14th best odds) got the 3rd pick with 1.8% chance at top 3 and selected Baron Davis
2007. Seattle SuperSonics (5th best odds) got the 2nd pick with 18.5% chance at top 2 and selected Kevin Durant
2007. Portland Trail Blazers (6th best odds) got the 1st pick with 5.7% chance at top pick and selected Greg Oden
2008. Chicago Bulls (9th best odds) got the 1st pick with 1.7% chance at top pick and selected Derrick Rose
2011. Cleveland Cavaliers (from Clippers, 8th best odds) got the 1st pick with 2.8% chance at top pick and selected Kyrie Irving
2011. Utah Jazz (from Nets, 6th best odds) got the 3rd pick with 25.2% chance at top 3 and selected Enes Kanter
2014. Cleveland Cavaliers (9th best odds) got the 1st pick with 1.7% chance at top pick and selected Andrew Wiggins
2017. Boston (from Sacramento via Philadelphia swap, 8th best odds) got the 3rd pick with a 10% chance at top 3 and selected Jayson Tatum

If I'm not mistaken, those are the major upsets in the modern lottery

Thanks.
Wow.
There’s many reasons to be optimistic heading into the draft lottery selection process. It would be good for the New York Knicks if one of the top 3 picks landed in our laps.

The same can be said for other teams with improbable odds, of course, but we’ll see.

More good news.
Andre Drummond (Achilles), Blake Griffin (ankle) and Dwight Buycks (rest) will not play in Wednesday's regular-season finale against the Bulls.

I wonder if some teams suit up 8 guys today. Lol.

Well the Knicks have drafted well in recent years.
I think there's an impact player to be had at 9, maybe Mikal or Miles.

Is Clarence still on board after yesterday firing spree? If yes, there's still hope (I don't want to believe in our odds to get to top3)
