Use our estimated $14-17m cap space to get useful vets that play with effort like darren collison, thabo, mbah moute. Just teach our young players to bring the energy, compete in every game.

and so it begins!

I can't believe the knicks move out melo and rose and may end up being worse on defense this year.

the road to 60 losses!

wouldn't be surprised to see koq, clee, kanter and doug traded later in the season. it's gonna be crowded for a while but things will sort themselves out; will likely get back picks in those transactions.

Lee and Kanter is a pretty decent package Id think. Im not doing any scenarios this early but all Im saying is one should expect a decent player with those two as a package. Its more than the Thunder paid for Melo.

Lee/Kanter and our 2018 1st rd pick (or right to swap) for Frye/Shump and 2018 1st rd. Brooklyn pick. This all depends on what Cavs need at the trade deadline.

D-Wade just got bought out, so Chicago has damn near NOTHING NOW.

The Knicks' tank is in jeopardy.........the Bulls have joined the TANKING SWEEPSTAKES :sadno:

Idk NewlyKnicked, it's pretty close. If jack is healthy, we actually have better point guards. The Bulls are a tragedy. Sadly, we have better shooting guards now too. Zach Lavine gives them a clear advantage at SF. KP vs Markkanen is interesting. KP obviously has more experience and a better weakside help defender, but Markkanen was just as effective at Eurobasket and he's a better 3 point shooter. At center... idk, we have a lot of them, but none of them play defense. They have RoLo, who defends but doesn't rebound. Man both of these teams are hot garbage

I'm going to give the nod to the bulls though, simply because we have a better record than them maybe once a decade.

The Bulls should clearly be worse than us. I would say their over-under is at 21 right now with ours around 26. They have no advantage at any position (LaVine is a PG/SG, not a small forward and coming off an ACL surgery).

If they had thibs they would somehow limp into the first round. But there's not a lot leftover from those over-achieving Bulls. They blew it up, I hope I'm wrong but I think their floor is really low.

The race to the bottom is a tough one this year, but the Bulls are really aiming low. They have Holiday, 1 good PF and one potentially good PF, a dunking SG when healthy and RoLo. That's it:

PG: Dunn/Grant/Payne vs Frank/Ramon/Jarret
SG: Lavine (when healthy)/Valentine vs THJ/Lee/Baker
SF: Holiday/Zipser vs Beasley/McD/Thomas
PF: Mirotic/Markannen/Portis vs KP/Kuz/KOQ
C: RoLo/Felicio/Stone vs WHG/Kanter/Noah

(I only put the players I know even vaguely, but the full list is scary: http://www.espn.com/nba/team/roster/_/n ... cago-bulls)

I don't see us being as bad as that

This tank will be cut short if Frank is the real deal and Tim is actually a good basketball player.

If that isn't the case

I want the best defender/passer in the top 5.

Doncic is elite on offense...will struggle on d
