TLDR: Stress reaction: 1-2 weeks. Stress fracture: 2 months
Yikes. Tank back in action? :drunk:

He needs to take it easy for now and his situation will be monitored closely when he returns in 2 weeks. The source of his bone stress could be fixed just by modifying his routine workouts and practices. They caught it early, which is good. Use his absence to give more minutes to the young guards.

Damn. There is enough depth though. Dotson's time to shine along with McBuckets. Need KP back though in the worst way.
No longer sick and tired that Kurt wasn't hired.

Word. You can see the past two games we have been unable to get any good 3 point shots No matter how efficient a team maybe, they need the 3 pointers to score enough to win.
It’s not the frustration of the fans of us losing, they want to see the dog, they want to see that fight, they want to see that hunger inside of you. - THJ

one more thing you could see last 2 games which is even more important - KP was not in the arena. Lets wait for KP to be back and then decide how important was Tim. I still believe he lost few games for us

Just take a look here to see THJ's importance for the team: http://www.espn.com/nba/statistics/rpm/_/sort/WINS

Doesn't mean he is more important than KP - of course KP is our best player - but it means that so far this season the team has played the best with THJ on court compared to not. Bigger positive impact than any other Knick.

But let's wait what a doctor who actually examines Hardaway's injury says, before waving the white flag. Doesn't look good though, because now was the time to get some wins in before the schedule gets tough. So if we go into the tough schedule already behind, we are in tank mode in a NY minute...

Hardaway was a full participant in todays practice
https://www.newsday.com/sports/basketba ... ign=buffer
and worked a little extra after it with assistant Corey Gaines:
https://twitter.com/IanBegley/status/950773009912037377

Now they have to look how he reacts and then make some tests:
It was a positive sign that Hardaway said he wasn’t thinking about his injury, or trying to not to make certain moves in fear of risking a setback. Hardaway said he still needs to be re-evaluated and have a bone scan, so he can’t say when he will be able to play.

If all goes well, I would say he should be back in a week.

THis whole team is slumping and playing like they're still hungover. FROM THANKSGIVING.
