Even though I'm still high on Frank I want Sexton in the worst way

If the expected 6 are gone... I would go with Mikal...

But maybe it could be fun to make our own top 10 draft board... Well here is how I rank the players I believe the Knicks should pick:
1) Ayton
2) Doncic
3) JJJ
4) Bagley
5) Porter
6) Bamba
7) Mikal
8) Carter
9) Miles
10) Knox

they could easily play together. I just envision Frank guarding the 1 very well...mainly because i like taller line ups but Sexton is a dog...easy player to like.

I'm taking Trae. I'll pray Trae and KP is enough offense to surround with 3 and D wings and a goon down low later (i.e. im creating the Boston Knicks)

1) Ayton
2) Doncic
3) Bagley
4) Porter
5) JJJ
6) Bamba
7) Young
8) Mikal
9) Carter
10) Miles

I've been going back between Mikal and Carter for the last 24 hours though. I wonder if THJ has any trade value. Probably not.
Fort Knox. Hard Knox. Knock Knox. It doesn't matter. Hall of Fame in 20.

i think your lane is the highest risk highest reward style of play...esp if you consider having 3 3/D players with those 2...even if we lose every game it would be the most entertaining Knicks team ever.

but no way in hell I'm keeping Tim and Burke then.....we would need some serious defenders across the board....but just imagining Trae and KP in a pick and roll....is just flat out nasty.

It's 50/50 for me, and it'll depend on who is available.

If Trae drops out of the Top 6-7 on draft night, I'm picking Trae.

Otherwise, it'll be Mikal (who could also be gone before Pick 7 or 8, which could be a factor in Trae dropping also).

Pretty sure I said Trae..........this team needs an "offense-creator" in the worst way.

We can argue about defense, but this team needs someone that can create ball-movement when KP struggles to get it going on offense.

Outside of Burke, there isn't another player on this roster that could do that

First off, I'm not sold on Young or Sexton; too much bust potential, too many questions about fit.

The 2 guys I have no problem with at #7 that are likely to be there for us, are Carter and Mikal. With a slim chance that someone slips out of the top 6, I'd guess that it's Bamba; I'd be happy with him as well.

Mikal from Villanova. Kid is a stud small forward which is what we need. Can get a PG in round 2. Means you'd be set at SG, SF, PF. Need a PG and C. Sexton would be my second choice.
No longer sick and tired that Kurt wasn't hired.

Trae has bust potential. Sexton has the combination of skill/athleticism/effort that rules him out of being a bust.

Granted, other players around that range have higher upside.

I'm talking Mikal to build the future best defensive backcourt in the nba, if Frank can ever get his shit together.

Then I'm hoping Vanderbilt is really there with my second pick. Sorry, had to just throw that in there.

I thought you guessed Miles, Carter or Knox. All over the place man, your right, you're agreeing with me too much.

I want to go on record, that I wanted Doncic, but b/ c the Knicks can't lose right, I have to choose in 7/8 range.

I like Shai or Mikal, I also said in a previous post that a top 6 pick could drop to us or a sleeper could emerge based off draft workouts.

Mikal looks like everything we need. I think he will ba able to defend the 3 just fine after a few years in the league

Agreed... Yeah he needs to add some muscle... but he wingspan is fine... so I do not understand why he has to be 6'8 to be a good SF it is not like he is 6'5 :?

A 6'7 SF with a 7'1 wingspan sounds fine to me... He plays D... shoots the 3 at a high %... I feel he fits our needs perfectly...

I hope Mikal is still there when we are picking.

Out of this top 10, Sexton and Young are the two I'm not too hot to have on the team
