This past season, Hardaway Jr. became just the ninth player in league history to attempt more than 400 3-pointers, yet shoot below 32.0% from downtown. According to Basketball-Reference, Hardaway Jr., who shot 31.7% on 410 attempts, is the only player within that group of nine to dish out fewer than 175 assists. That’s not what the Knicks, desperate for reliable long-range shooting, had hoped for when the handed THJ a four-year, $71 million contract last summer.

Well, if you want to use something as unreliable as league history to prove a point!!

I can feel Spree crunching the numbers coming back with a hypothetical TS% if Timmy boosts his 3 pt % to 35% plus..

Hes going to show me no mercy..No one insults Timmy and comes out unscathed

Cant wait for Mike B's boot camp to start...

He may be passive on this one. I feel like he lets 1 go and drops the gauntlet on the next 3.

I am passive right now, because there is nothing to discuss.

On this topic:
spree#8 wrote:... A guy that shoots as many threes as Timmy Hardaway has to shoot at least .333, because that equals .50 in 2P%. So a percentage of .317 doesn't cut it. No sugarcoating. ...

Everyone is in agreement that either the 3P% has to go up to his normal or his 3 point attempt rate has to be cut down.

Just posting this, because I feel some obligation to moderate an own thread.
