We're talking about the Knicks though.

What if they accidentally drafted the ball boy instead of the good player?

It's possible but at his age his failure would be just as much our fault as it is his. And it's usually our fault.

Willie Cauley-stein played 3 seasons, other than that I think everyone else was one and done (?).

Enoucraging list. Kentucky is a prep school for the NBA.

Ok, I will say it....

Who on this list, other than the number 1 picks in their drafts, really stands out? You could argue Cousins, yea but after that you could actually say there have been a lot of disappointments considering where these players have been drafted. Yea, Kentucky gets a lot of great players, of course, but what does that have to do with Knox?

My hope is a lot higher than most non top picks on that list!

Someone forgot to put Eric Bledsoe on that list...........drafted the same time as John Wall, and Bledsoe was a college senior when he was drafted.

Murray is pretty decent as well, but yeah I get your point.
There is so much work ahead of Knox to reach his potential, he's gonna have to listen and learn... Hopefully he's as mentally mature as Calipari pictured him to be. The fact that he wanted to prove himself in group workouts indicates hunger for greatness

What you should take out of the list is that they all become NBA players... Of course they are not all going to be superstars... but they all have NBA careers...

Sure we all hope that Knox becomes a superstar... but there is no sure thing at pick 9... I also think you ignore the Booker pick... I think any team in the NBA would love to pick up a player at 13 who becomes as good as Devin Booker...

That 2015 draft class is off the charts. Obviously there's Towns, but Booker is arguably the best shooting SG in the NBA. It will be interesting to see WCS's development this year as it's time for him to make some major moves. And Lyles shaped up to be pretty good last year for Denver.

Hopefully Knox is more in the Towns / Booker echelan.

Bledsoe got drafted after his freshman year.

*researches again*

Correction, my mistake. I had Eric Bledsoe mixed up for the other Kentucky player that got drafted that same year.........Patrick Patterson (the actual Kentucky "veteran" that got drafted, and he technically was a junior when drafted, so I'm even more off)
