Agreed. They are the favorites no doubt but if KP comes back full strength by the end of the regular season I would love that matchup.

The knicks need Kawhi Leonard, who has requested a trade to the Lakers, but with Lebron signing they have essential told Kawhi a homecoming is not in the cards. I doubt the Clippers have enough for Kawhi and doubt if Kawhi wants to go to the Clippers.

Kawhi needs to force his way to the Knicks, and only mention he will resign with the Knicks. If I'm the Knicks, I will only offer Kanter, Mudiay, and Kevin Knox or 2019 first round pick. You can also be patient and sign Kawhi next season but the Knicks need to clear cap. If they are in a position to sign two FA after clearing cap, you wait and I think the Knicks fans would appreciate patience. If you can only sign one, then attempt to make the trade for Kawhi, bc your not trading for Irving. The knicks need to choose b/c Kawhi is available and is a top 5 player in the NBA. You acquire him in a trade, you can say without a doubt that Kyrie Irving signs. With these two being the cornerstone, nothing will be in our way.
