Yeah I agree. But what I really liked was when Frank came in and subbed out Trier instead of Baker. Trier was too busy chucking and not getting anyone involved. Thought Baker was coming out for sure but Fiz made the right call. Baker is a scrub definitely but Fiz is using him to energize the other guys by osmosis or something

Baker should never be re-signed to the Knicks after his contract is up.........I don't care how good he is in the locker room OR how cool his agent is with Mills.

Man ain't a NBA player

Frank in the post is actually a thing??? And it worked? What????

Im rooting for Ron Baker?

Kanter is playing defense?

THJ knows how to play basketball???

Fiz making Hornacek look like a DUNCE. Hes already drawing out player strengths and hiding weaknesses. Everyone is fighting. They lost confidence at one point in the game but recovered.

Cant say enough about the guy. Hes a GOD.

We were like the hottest team in the NBA for about the first month of the season last year. Let's hold off.

Knicks finished with 3 turnovers - matching a franchise low.

Considering Frank is better at providing that energy than Baker too, I don't see the point of giving Baker minutes unless it's to make an example of the other players not putting in the effort.

Putting Baker in the game must be how Fiz punishes the rest of the team. It's the equivalent of making the guys run laps during the game.

Nope. Optimism never existed here.

I dont expect wins. I dont care. Fiz is the first real coach this team has had in ages. It doesnt take months to realize that. Hes already coached more in the last 2 games than Fish and Hornacek did in however many years they were here, and whoever else was a Knicks coach, I cant even remember!

Im giving Fiz a lifetime contract and building him a statue.

If anyone has delusions about sniffing the playoffs,we absolutely can not afford to lose games to the likes of the Nets..

Lol Irv. Yeah Baker was a total liability. Time to cut back 0 points Lance too. Knox hit the boards.

Nah, this is a tank season when all is said and done. At this point in the season, the only reliable offense is Kanter and Hardaway, and while my mind is beginning to change on Kanter, we know Hardaway is a sixth man at best on a winning team.

I'd just rather go 4-78 with all of the wins coming against the Nots instead of serving them a cheap win.

Yep. Fiz caught on to that too. Knox was playing with the starters the last 5 mins.

Knox got the heat too. Not afraid of the big moments. He just has to learn some better nba moves near the hoop. A euro step would do wonders. And how to set and use picks better.

Correct but the third turnover came in the final minute at the worst time.
No longer sick and tired that Kurt wasn't hired.

The kid just need some more experience and become strong enough to handle "NBA-level physicality" to be able to do what you're suggesting.

Hopefully we'll soon see some of "Euro Step" Knox later this season

We got killed on the glass, too many 2nd chance points. Could have done a better job chasing them off the arc and choosing better shots; though I like the fast pace, we gotta shoot better than 40% fg.

Couldn't see the game but I watched the highlights and boxscore. Here some thoguhts:

the positives
- Very low TOs, That's amazing
- Welcome back Knox (till next time)
- Frank is so valuable
- Enes is a bully

the negatives
- 14 assists, that sucks
- The Nets shot at 50% thus the minus 20 rebounds (we have as many offensive boards as them). You can't allow such a high FG%. That's all on defense, but we did get 10 interceptions so what happened exactly? Where the shots just randomly falling for the Nets? Didn't appear so in the highlights...
- Tim shot 10/25... how many were actually good shots? He's our first scoring option, but we all know he tends to force it a bit...

Tim is Tim...He taes alot of tough shots...

If you watch Trie,he gets alot of seperation from his man we he takes the step back jumper. His handle is really good..

Tim isnt as crafty with the ball,so he winds up taking fadeaways that are fairly well contested...

If Frank is really the defensive stopper on this squad,he should have been on Levert or Russel in the 4th
